Douglas Duncan
President and CEO

Doug sets the strategic growth direction and leads the management team at Black Coral Inc. Doug has 20 years of experience in the technology sector, building successful companies as Chairman and CEO and managing technology investment risks as an investment banker. Prior to Black Coral, Doug co-founded more than ten companies, including: BM Investments, ExoVision Technologies, Coradix Technology Consulting Ltd and Fifth Dimension Systems. Doug's companies have built numerous command centers including Canada's National Defence Command Center and the RCMP National Operations Center. Doug is presently the lead contact for numerous visualization projects contracted to Black Coral.

Darrell O'Donnell
CTO and Executive VP

Darrell coordinates Black Coral's engineering and development efforts. He is responsible for providing technology vision, managing and leading software development, and technology acquisition at Black Coral Inc. Darrell has deep expertise in applying technology for incident management and situational awareness, particularly with integrated mapping/geospatial capabilities. Systems that he has created have been used to prosecute well in excess of 100,000 incidents worldwide for military and homeland security customers.

Prior to joining Black Coral, Darrell was a founder at Digital Space Systems, which was acquired by EMS technologies (NASDAQ: ELMG) in 2000.

Paul White
Chief Operating Officer

Paul has over 20 years experience in the software industry. Prior to joining Black Coral, Paul was a co-founder of The Object People, an Ottawa-based software company specializing in the adoption of object technology by Fortune 500 companies. The Object People were the creators of TOPLink, now a key component of Oracle’s object-to-relational mapping strategy. After The Object People was acquired by BEA Systems of San Jose, California, Paul served as their Senior Director of Americas Education Services. Paul has acted as an independent consultant with a variety of organizations, providing management and leadership expertise. Paul was also a faculty member with the School of Computer Science at Carleton University for 10 years. Paul’s role at Black Coral is to apply his previous leadership experience with fast growing, talented organizations to Black Coral’s growth and market strategy.

Don Williams
Vice President - Sales

Don has more than 20 years of senior executive experience with software companies providing geospatial products to first responder and defence organizations internationally. These companies include OSI Geospatial and SoftRisk Technologies where Don led the business development and sales efforts related to new products for geospatial situational awareness and incident management. While working in government, Don had management responsibilities for coordinating multi-agency emergency response. Don is also a trained smokejumper (US Forest Service) and has parachuted into numerous remote wildfires. Don holds a bachelor of arts degree from Carleton University and is a member of the Institute for Risk Research at the University of Waterloo.

Larry Paget
Chief Financial Officer

Larry has many years of experience in all aspects of financial management and is responsible for developing the financial growth and financing of Black Coral Inc. Larry is a seasoned accounting professional with eighteen years of experience and leadership in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, corporate tax return preparation, annual reports, audit and banking relationships and accounting policies and procedures. Throughout his progressive career, Larry has directed the accounting departments of Fifth Dimension Systems Inc., ExoVision Technologies Inc., 1043133 Ontario Inc. and Coradix Technology Consulting Ltd. Larry holds certifications in Financial Management and Business Accounting.
