Black Coral Awarded Contract by Alberta Emergency Management Agency for Emergency Management Decision Support Initiative

Ottawa, Ontario, August 18, 2008: Black Coral, Inc. has been awarded a $1.9 million contract by the Alberta Emergency Management Agency ("AEMA") to provide incident management software and services throughout the province under its emergency management decision support initiative. A premier technology team was assembled and led by Black Coral to meet the current and future needs of emergency management in Alberta. Partnering with Black Coral are AGSI, Bell, and Enhanced Data Solutions with Aizan Technologies, all of which are Canada-based companies. Led by Black Coral SoftRisk® incident management software, and bolstered by its partners’ strong capabilities, the contract will provide an integrated solution for emergency management. SoftRisk®, together with Black Coral Enterprise Bridge, facilitates the sharing of information between all levels of government, emergency response agencies, and public and private organizations engaged in emergency planning and response.
