Ottawa, Ontario, March 31, 2008: Black Coral, Inc. announces the launch of SoftRisk 6.0, a Web-based incident management tool for emergency managers. The first presentation of this new version to a public audience will occur at the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida, on April 2, 2008.

SoftRisk was originally designed and fielded in the 1990s. The new 6.0 version builds on this legacy with highly-enhanced features specifically designed for local, regional, and state agencies to deal with a wide range of emergency situations. SoftRisk 6.0 complies with NIMS and ICS Standards.
