What's New in SoftRisk

We listened to our customers describe their needs and intergrated the following components in our new enhanced version of SoftRisk.

• ICS Forms
  SoftRisk now includes a selection of standard ICS forms which users can maintain per SoftRisk incident. Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 users will easily be able to open, complete, save and maintain these forms within each of their SoftRisk incidents. And most important, these forms are already pre-populated with incident data already stored by SoftRisk.

• Automated Logging
  The enhanced version of SoftRisk has automated logging for each action performed in SoftRisk. Each action is time-stamped and links to the modified entity for easy navigation. Users can view the complete activity details of all SoftRisk activities or view just the actions that pertain to a certain incident.

• Custom Map Layers
  Users of SoftRisk now have the option of adding custom map layers that provide more detailed geographical information about the area in which they operate. Users are able to easily turn the custom map layers on or off with a click of a button.

• ICS Positions
  The updated version of SoftRisk has integrated the concept of ICS position to each incident. Users are now able to create positions within each incident, create dependencies and hierarchies, associate personnel with a position and assign tasks to a position (thus assigning the task to all personnel fulfilling the role of that position)

• Role Based Access Control
  SoftRisk now includes an easily configurable role based access control system which lets Administrators to define roles with permissions and apply them to each SoftRisk user. Administrators can now also create and approve their own users, edit their information and associate users with personnel.

• Searching
  The latest update of SoftRisk comes with a popular search-engine like feature which lets you search through incidents, resources, sites, contacts and other data in the system. The results that are generated are context based which clearly indicate where the result came from.
